AdVANtage Service

Wheelchair users and other persons whose disability absolutely prohibits their use of the OVRTA/EORTA fixed-route accessible bus service may qualify to use our para-transit van service. In order to qualify to use this curb-curb advance reservation paratransit service, you must be certified by the OVRTA. Trips are provided up to 1 1/2 miles from our fixed-route bus routes within our service area.

Service hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

OVRTA / EORTA Policies

Bus passes must be shown each time upon boarding.

Please remain seated until the bus stops.

All those 6 years of age or older will be considered adults.

Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by responsible adult / guardian who will supervise their behavior on the bus.

All riders are prohibited from smoking, drinking and eating on the bus.

Disruptive behavior can result in ejection from the bus, suspension of service usage and / or arrest under State laws of West Virginia or Ohio.

OVRTA / EORTA is not responsible for articles left on busses.

Animals are not permitted on bus unless properly caged, or needed by disabled rider (e.g., a Seeing Eye dog).

Courtesy stops can be made only if a driver determines it is safe to do so.

Service is provided Monday thru Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to approx. 6:30 p.m. There is no Sunday service.
