UPCOMING EVENTS:

The Cheerful bowlers League will begin the fall session on Saturday September 18.  Please call us at 304-232-4810 if you are interested in bowling with us or volunteering to help us out.  All visually impaired citizens are eligible to bowl.  We begin at 9:30 AM at the Elm Grove Bowling Lanes. 

The 5th Annual Camp Independence Steak Fry will be held Saturday October 9 at the Italian American Club on Sycamore Avenue in Elm Grove.  Longaberger baskets and tons of prizes; great steaks; DJ; and, the most fun you have ever had raising funds to support a summer camp for blind and visually impaired youth.  Get a group together and come celebrate independence!

Recent highlights:

6/20/10  The tenth annual Camp Independence summer camp for blind and visually impaired youth between the ages of 12 to 17 convened on the beautiful campus of Wheeling Jesuit University.  Education, exercise, self esteem and social interaction were enjoyed by all twelve of this year's campers.  Dragon boating on the Allegheny River with the Three Rivers Rowing Association and camel rides at the Living Treasures Animal Park were among this year's activities. 

 5/26/2010-the Seeing Hand Association unvails its newly revamped web site.  More improvements and more pictures will be coming in the near future.
